This article briefly discusses the process by which salvation is effected in the one who believes. There are many false gospels today inviting sinners to church in the wrong way or for the wrong reasons. Without preaching the gospel, some people will just give a sinner some prayers to repeat. Prayers do not save people or give salvation. You can pray when you believe, but it is the belief that saves not the prayers you repeated.
A good knowledge of the purpose and ministries of the Holy Spirit will help you as a believer to know who you're and what you have in Christ. The more you know about the Holy Spirit the better Christians you will be. Unfortunately, many believers are ignorant of the real identity and ministries of the Holy Spirit. The Bible is clear that salvation is not and cannot be by works. But there are many today who contradict this truth by false gospels which deceive the people into trying to earn salvation by works.
