Many deceivers have entered into the world, as predicted of them. The believers in Christ must abide in the Scriptures alone and not run after new doctrines.
This article briefly discusses the process by which salvation is effected in the one who believes. There are many false gospels today inviting sinners to church in the wrong way or for the wrong reasons. Without preaching the gospel, some people will just give a sinner some prayers to repeat. Prayers do not save people or give salvation. You can pray when you believe, but it is the belief that saves not the prayers you repeated.
If you're paying attention in our days, you will notice there are lots of ungodly deeds being done around us which are being associated with the Holy Spirit or His anointing - barking and screaming like animals, rolling or falling over chairs and tables, etc. But the sad thing is that there are no biblical precedence for those claims.
