The gospel is simple in the Bible. But there are many people who cannot clearly articulate it, even among those who have professed faith in Christ. There are others who are completely unaware of the gospel, thereby complicating the way of salvation for themselves.
Like the Jews of Apostle Paul’s time, “being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.” Romans 10:3. There is absolutely no need to complicate what Christ has already simplified.
The way to salvation is Christ and none other. In Christ’s own words, He says this about Himself:
“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6.
