I am the sole owner of the information collected on this site. I only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give via email or other direct contact from you. I do not sell or rent this information to any entity.
I will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted me. I use third party mass email service to contact my visitors. If you choose to subscribe for updates, your contact information will be stored as part of my contacts. 1. Comments
When visitors leave comments on a Post, I collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address of the visitors. If the user is registered on the Site, the contact information on the user’s profile will be included on the comment submitted.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture will be visible to the public in the context of your comment.
2. Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. I cannot control what they can do with such information. Also, ensure that you have permission to post any digital item on my Blog.
3. Subscription and Contact Forms
In order to receive regular updates of new articles and other useful materials, a user must first sign up by completing the registration form. During registration a user is required to give certain information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact you about the new articles and other useful materials, products/services on my site in which you have expressed interest. You have the option to provide demographic information (such as gender or age) about yourself, but it won’t be required.
I may provide products (both free and paid) for which you’re required to fill out order forms with your information. To buy from this Site, or download free materials, you may be required to provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). Who Your Data Are Shared With
Analytics
I share usage data like page views, etc. with Google Analytics and Microsoft Webmaster Tool. This is just for the purpose of monitoring my pages and applications in order to make useful improvement decisions that will enhance my website and operations. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual visitor. If you sign up for regular updates, your name and email address may be shared with my mass email service provider. This is also not linked to any other personal information than you have voluntarily provided.
Data Retention
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so that I can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on my website (if any), I also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All registered users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
I may retain Personal Information about a user, as long as it is necessary for business and/or legal purposes. Also, I may retain aggregated anonymous information indefinitely. In addition, I may retain your information for an additional period as is permitted or required to, among other things, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
